The Rocky Mountain Shoulder & Elbow Society Meeting, 2007

-A letter from Dr. Millett-

Dear Colleague:

Please mark your mental calendars for the Second Rocky Mountain Shoulder and Elbow Society Meeting, a three-day program presenting the continuing advancements within the subspecialty of sports medicine and orthopaedic surgery with a special focus on the upper extremity. The meeting will include formal academic sessions in JUNE 2007 - which focus on presentations from experts in the field, including scientific medical research, treatment protocols and individual surgical technique refinements.

The Rocky Mountain Shoulder and Elbow Society is an educational organization dedicated to the eleveation of shoulder and elbow care among orthopaedic surgeons in the Rocky Mountain Region. From my prior experience as a founding member of the New England Shoulder and Elbow Society, I have seen the benefit of such a regional organization and hope to develop a similar program for our region.

The second meeting will be held in Vail, Colorado, and again will allow professionals devoted to the care of the shoulder and elbow to gather and share information about the care and treatment of patients with shoulder and elbow disorders. The goal of this meeting is to serve as a venue for dissemination of new ideas in shoulder and elbow surgery and for collegiality among orthopaedic surgeons from the Rocky Mountain Region.

I hope that you will join us at the second annual meeting of the Rocky Mountain Shoulder and Elbow Society!

Sincerely,

Peter J. Millett, M.D., M.Sc.
