BRL Internship Program

Students wanting to develop careers in the orthopedic field have the opportunity to gain practical research experience in a variety of settings within the Steadman Hawkins Research Foundation. It is our intent to provide an exceptional learning environment dedicated to producing world class researchers in the field of orthopedic sports medicine, rehabilitation and human performance. We firmly believe that research is an integral part of patient care.  We are dedicated to improving all aspects of health care, including cost effective treatment and injury prevention through quality research and education.

This professional practice will provide the opportunity for interaction with professionals as well as observation of and participation in the actual operations of the Steadman Hawkins Research Foundation. Students participating in this internship are expected, as they gain experience as researchers, to become more sensitive to their own capabilities related to their career goals, and enhance their enthusiasm for research. We will actively pursue and accept students with the dedication and desire to continue their professional careers in a research oriented organization.
